Hello!
About a week ago, on Monday the 11th, my family and my Mom’s parents went to help volunteer with Samaritan’s Purse!! I have mentioned them before.
We helped out at a Processing Center for the shoeboxes. It was an AMAZING experience!! We have wanted to do it for years, but kept waiting until I was old enough…then we never did it until my brother was old enough too, which was fun!! 🙂
Let’s look at some photos, and I will do my best to make you feel like you were there!!
*The photos are not of all great quality, I was using my old camera*
On our way there! >>>>>>
Drivin’ in the car!
Bro listening to music!
Driving by Ikea!
Pretty mountains!
Almost there!!
We are here!!
We are here!! *dances*
A neat prayer wall.
The stations.
My brother and I are going through the boxes to see if there is anything that should not be in it, and adding more if there is not much in it.
My Mom and Nana, check the boxes for any money/checks. To help pay for the shipping.
A list of the items we HAVE to take out.
I also did the first step, taking the shoe boxes out of the big boxes, and checking for any money/checks.
Our shift was from 3pm-7pm. It actually went by pretty fast.
My family after our shift.
My Mom’s parents.
All of us! ❤
Afterward, we went and got Chick-Fil-A, it had never tasted so good! 🙂
It was a big day, but SO worth it. I highly recommend doing it!!
