THE AVERAGE – ORIGINAL SONG BY JOSEPH O’BRIEN (AUDIO)

Lyrics:

No one told me I would suffer No one told me I would grieve They told me live the way you want to You still inherit eternity
But something I got in my head Are telling me those words are dead Now I can tell it’s a lie and here’s why
Swept away in the dead of winter It’s only when I cry out for my lover Then I’ll move along, I move along Summer comes and I look to no one ‘Til the leaves start changing color Then I’ll pray too long, I’ll pray too long
Now there are moments where I am faithful But I do it for worldly gain And if it doesn’t come I will see that Under all the self-restraint
Something I got in my head Are telling me those words are dead Now I can tell it’s a lie and here’s why
Swept away in the dead of winter It’s only when I cry out for my lover And then I’ll move along, I’ll move along Summer comes and I look to no one ‘Til the leaves start changing colors Then I’ll pray it alone, I’ll pray it alone
The truth is don’t be surprised when trials Come and invade your lives The truth is we follow Christ
In the good or bad, in the day or night
Swept away in the dead of winter It’s only when I cry out for my lover And then I’ll move along, I’ll move along Summer comes and I look to no one ‘Til the leaves start changing colors Then I’ll pray it alone, I’ll pray it alone
Swept away in the dead of winter It’s only when I cry out for my lover And then I’ll move along, I’ll move along Summer comes and I look to no one ‘Til the leaves start changing colors Then I’ll pray it alone, I’ll pray it alone
The truth is don’t be surprised When trials come and invade your lives The truth is we follow Christ In the good or bad, in the day or night
—————————-

We will suffer and grieve. But God helps us through it, we need only to trust Him and pray.
Follow Christ in the good and bad, in the day or night.

Family Get Together

Heyyy! Last Sunday we had our annual family get together with my dad’s side of the family. It was at someone’s house, and it was so pretty!! I had a lot of fun taking pictures. ๐Ÿ™‚

Listened to some jams during the car trip up there, as well as listening to my podcasts with my family. ๐ŸŽง

There was a storm coming.

See the ducks? ๐Ÿฆ†

Yes, another classic picture of Gracie’s feet.

Icky green lake gunk.

See the fishy?

It got super windy, so low and behold…Colorado waves. ๐Ÿ˜› ๐ŸŒŠ

Silas spotted this neat bird, not sure what it was, but it was pretty big!

See me on my phone screen?

More green slime, bubbles, and a feather.

Ahh, I love the big open skies and the open farmland.

Some of us got together to play bocce ball.

Ahh, it is clearing up and it is so pretty!

Look at those mountains!

After many hours with family, we started our venture back home. But before the car ride, we picked up some cold treats! Ruby got a rainbow icy thingy. ๐Ÿ˜€

Silas and I got cold caramel coffee drinks, yummy! I drank that too fast. ๐Ÿ˜›

What did you do last weekend? ๐Ÿ˜Ž
