A Pretty Epic Wednesday

August 14th. It was a really good day. Hard in some ways, but a day to remember for sure. It got to spend many hours with one of my best friends, Kyler!! He was leaving the next day for college in Indiana, so we wanted to spend some time together.

 

We met at the movies. Yes, we went to see Dora as teenagers. But we thought it would be fun nonetheless.

There was a scene where they turned into their animated characters, that was really fun/funny!! Overall it was actually really good! Some cheesy moments, but it was good. I would probably watch it again. They did Dora good. 🙂

After the movie, we into Dicks Sporting Goods and Kyler just had to buy this bouncy ball, haha! But it ended up being very popular later at youth group, so that was worth the $3. 😀

Kyler and I walked around after Dicks just talking and also sat on a bench and talked. That was nice. 

Then we walked over to Five Guys for dinner. Kyler loves that place, and I had never been so we were like why not?!

I got a pretty simple burger, but it was really good! 🍔

After we ate we went over to Best Buy to look around, we both like electronics so that was fun. Look at that huge TV!

After that, my parents picked us up and we headed to youth group. We had a campfire outdoor night. Here we were doing worship. 

It was a little fire, but still did fire, which is what you need for smores. 

The moon was really pretty. 🌕

Some of the boys started playing frisbee, which made Kyler happy because he loves frisbee. He kept impressing people with his skills. 😎

Some of the boys got the wonderful idea to have a contest with throwing a marshmallow up high then catching it in your mouth. Kyler did that too and succeeded. 😛 

Then we all sat around the fire and talked about our summers, changes in the youth group, and the school year starting. It was nice.

After youth group we took Kyler to his grandparents and said our goodbyes, that was very sad. I hate saying bye. But it was a great day and I am so glad we got to spend it together! 🙂
